Overview

The Customer Schedule page (kiv/customer-schedule.php) shows one customer's delivery schedule and lets you skip an upcoming delivery week or add a delivery on a week the customer is not due to get one, without logging in as the customer and without the customer-facing skip-reason prompt. It is the page behind the Schedule button (calendar icon) in the header of the Customer Detail page.

Each upcoming delivery week is a row in a grid with a Skip or Add delivery action, so a single week can be changed right here instead of logging in as the customer. Weeks inside a pause or vacation hold are marked and offer no action.

The page handles one-off weeks only. To change the overall frequency (weekly, every other week, and so on), the status or a pause, the start week, or a vacation hold, use the Subscription Info panel on the customer's account page.

Primary Functions:

  • See the subscription at a glance: delivery frequency, status (including a pause), delivery day, start week, and any vacation hold
  • Skip a week the customer is normally due to deliver
  • Add a delivery on a week the customer is not due to deliver
  • Reset the schedule, clearing every skip and add in one click
  • Review the customer's recorded skips and adds

Reaching the Schedule Page

  1. Open the customer's Customer Detail page
  2. Click Schedule (calendar icon) in the header

Like the other customer sub-pages, it works off the customer account you already have open; it is not a standalone schedule search.

Schedule Summary

At the top of the page, a compact table lists the current subscription settings:

  • Schedule - the delivery frequency name (for example, Weekly or Every Other Week)
  • Status - the subscription status. When the subscription is paused, it also shows "until [date]", or "(indefinite)" if no resume date is set
  • Delivery day - the weekday the customer's route delivers (for example, Thursday)
  • Start week - when the subscription's delivery schedule starts, or n/a
  • Vacation hold - the hold date range; this row only appears when a vacation hold is set

A note under the summary points out that changing the overall frequency, status, start week, or a pause is done on the customer's Subscription Info panel, not on this page.

Delivery Week Grid

The grid lists the next 12 delivery weeks, starting with the current week. The current week's row is highlighted and marked this week. Each row shows:

  • Delivery week - the date of that week's delivery
  • Status - a badge for that week:
  • Delivering - the customer is due to deliver this week
  • Skipped - a skip is on record for this week, so it will not deliver
  • No delivery - the week falls off the customer's cadence, with no skip on record
  • Paused / Vacation hold - the week falls inside an account pause or vacation hold
  • Action - what you can do for that week:
  • Skip on a Delivering week - cancels that week's delivery
  • Add delivery on a Skipped or No delivery week - schedules a delivery that week (adding to a Skipped week also removes the skip)
  • No action on Paused and Vacation hold weeks - the pause or hold already stops that week's delivery

How Skip and Add Work

  • Changes save immediately when you click the button; there is no confirmation prompt and no skip-reason prompt on these buttons
  • The row refreshes in place and a green confirmation appears above the grid (for example, "Skipped Sep 17" or "Added Sep 17")
  • The change is written to the customer's activity log. When the store tracks skip reasons, an admin skip is also recorded on the Skips report with the reason "Adjusted by admin"

Reset Schedule

The Reset schedule button above the grid clears every skip and add on file for the customer at once, returning them to their default cadence. It asks for confirmation first ("Clear ALL skips and adds for this customer?"). It does not change the subscription's frequency, status, start week, or a pause.

Skips and Adds History

Below the grid, two plain tables (Skips and Adds) list the individual records on file for the customer, newest first, with the record ID, timestamp, and date. They show the same skip and add history the grid reflects.

Common Use Cases

Use Case 1: Skip a Customer's Next Delivery

Goal: Customer is going out of town next week and does not want their box.

Steps:

  1. Open the customer's Schedule page
  2. Find next week's row (the grid starts with the current week, which is marked "this week")
  3. Click Skip on that row

Use Case 2: Add a Delivery on an Off Week

Goal: Customer wants a delivery on a week that is not on their cadence.

Steps:

  1. Open the customer's Schedule page
  2. Find the week shown as No delivery
  3. Click Add delivery

Use Case 3: Undo an Accidental Skip

Steps:

  1. Find the week shown as Skipped
  2. Click Add delivery - this removes the skip and the week returns to delivering

Use Case 4: Clear All Skips and Adds

Goal: Start the customer's schedule fresh, for example after several one-off changes.

Steps:

  1. Click Reset schedule
  2. Confirm when prompted

Use Case 5: Explain Why a Week Is Not Delivering

Steps:

  1. Open the Schedule page and read the week's status badge
  2. Paused / Vacation hold - the account pause or hold is stopping that week; adjust it on the Subscription Info panel if the week should deliver
  3. No delivery - the week is off the cadence; use Add delivery if the customer should get a box that week
  4. Skipped - a skip is on record; the Skips table below shows the entry

Troubleshooting

A Week Shows "No Action"

The week falls inside an account pause or vacation hold, so there is nothing to skip or add for that individual week. Change the pause or vacation hold on the customer's Subscription Info panel if the week should deliver.

Customer Wants to Change How Often They Get Deliveries

This page only skips or adds individual weeks. The ongoing frequency, the status/pause, the start week, and a vacation hold are changed on the customer's Subscription Info panel, not on this page.

"No Delivery" Shown but the Customer Should Get a Box That Week

The week does not fall on the customer's normal cadence. Click Add delivery on that row to schedule it.

Reset Didn't Change the Frequency or a Pause

Reset clears skips and adds only; it never touches the subscription's frequency, status, start week, or pause. Those are set on the Subscription Info panel.

Recent Updates

September 9, 2026:

  • The Schedule page now has an admin per-week scheduler. It shows a subscription summary (frequency, status/pause, delivery day, start week, vacation hold), a grid of the next 12 delivery weeks with Skip / Add delivery actions that save immediately with no reason prompt, and a Reset schedule button that clears all skips and adds. Weeks inside a pause or vacation hold are marked and offer no action. Admin skips are logged to the Skips report as "Adjusted by admin". The old raw Schedule debug table was removed.
