Overview¶
The Front Page Content Editor allows you to customize the content, images, and layout of your website's homepage without writing code. Update hero sections, featured products, testimonials, and calls-to-action to keep your homepage fresh and conversion-optimized.

- Edit hero banner headline and text
- Update homepage images and videos
- Manage featured products and boxes
- Add and edit content sections
- Configure call-to-action buttons
- Customize layout and ordering of sections
- Preview changes before publishing
Page Sections¶
Hero Section¶

- Recommended sizes:
- Hero: 1920x1080px
- Section images: 1200x800px
- Product images: 800x800px
- Maximum file size: 5MB

Background Videos:
- Upload video file (MP4 recommended)

Steps:
- Click "Add Section"
- Choose section type from library:

Reordering Sections¶
Drag and Drop:
- Click "Reorder Sections" mode
- Drag sections up or down
- Release in new position
- Click "Save Order"

Hiding/Showing Sections¶
Visibility Control:
- Edit section
- Toggle "Visible" switch
- Save

Deleting Sections¶
Steps:
- Edit section
- Click "Delete Section"
- Confirm deletion
Warning: Deleted sections can't be easily recovered
Preview & Publishing¶
Preview Changes¶
Before Publishing:
- Click "Preview" button
- View in new tab
- Check desktop view
- Check mobile view
- Test all links and buttons
- Review for typos
Publishing Changes¶
Go Live:
- Review all changes in preview
- Click "Publish Changes"
- Changes appear immediately on live site
- Clear cache if changes don't appear
Scheduling Updates¶
Schedule Publishing:
- Make changes
- Click "Schedule Publish"
- Set date and time
- Changes go live automatically at scheduled time

Changes Not Appearing Live¶
Solutions:
- Clear browser cache (Ctrl+F5)
- Try incognito/private window
- Verify changes were published (not just saved)
- Check if changes scheduled for future
- Clear site cache
Image Won't Upload¶
Check:
- File size under 5MB
- File type is JPG, PNG, or WebP
- File name has no special characters
- Try different browser
- Compress image and retry
Section Order Changed Unexpectedly¶
Fix:
- Enter reorder mode
- Drag sections back to desired order
- Save order
- Refresh to verify
Mobile Layout Looks Wrong¶
Solutions:
- Use mobile preview in editor
- Check image dimensions

Yes, revision history allows you to restore previous versions. Click "Version History" to view and restore.
Will changes affect SEO?¶
Text changes can affect SEO. Keep important keywords in headlines. Don't change URLs without redirects. Alt text on images helps SEO.
Can I preview before publishing?¶
Yes, always preview changes. Preview shows exactly how it will look live. Test desktop and mobile views.
What if I accidentally delete a section?¶
Use "Undo" immediately or restore from version history. Good practice: duplicate section before major edits.
How do I know what's working?¶
Use analytics to track signup conversions, scroll depth, click rates on CTAs. A/B test different approaches.
Can customers see my edits while I'm working?¶
No, changes are draft until you publish. Safe to work on during business hours.
What size should hero images be?¶
1920x1080px for full-width hero. Optimize file size (under 500KB) for fast loading while maintaining quality.
How many featured boxes should I show?¶
3-4 is ideal. Shows options without overwhelming. Can show all boxes on separate plans/pricing page.
Should I use video on homepage?¶
Video can increase engagement if used well. Keep under 30 seconds for background videos. Ensure mobile fallback image.
